«Penser le sujet autour d'Alain Touraine» is a book of essays edited by François Dubet and Michel Wieviorka, published by Fayard in paperback, in French.
Collective volume arising from the Cerisy colloquium held in June 1993 in homage to Alain Touraine. Drawing on the work of Alain Touraine, it examines the dissociation between actor and system, identity and instrumental reason, nations and market, and proposes placing the autonomous activity of individuals and groups at the center of analysis.
