In 1958, X. L. Méndez Ferrín surprised the literary world with his first narrative book, 'Percival e outras historias'. This critically acclaimed book immerses the reader in a world where popular tradition intertwines with the avant-garde, and Arthurian myths merge with fantasy. Méndez Ferrín's prose, confident and evocative, compels the reader to visualize characters and situations in a climate of mystery. In this universe, one does not know whether one lives among devouring insects or cruel human beings. This book is an initial but definitive work in Ferrín's career, marking the beginning of his mastery as a narrator.
