«Personas decentes» is the crime novel by Leonardo Padura, published by Tusquets Editores in paperback (448 pages, in Spanish).
Havana, 2016. With Obama on the island, former policeman Mario Conde investigates the murder of a former Cuban leader who censored artists during the Revolution. A second death by the same method complicates the case, while Conde writes a plot set a century earlier: a double crime in Old Havana pits two crime bosses against each other. Both stories converge.
It belongs to the Mario Conde series and is part of the Andanzas collection from Tusquets Editores; edition published in 2022.
For readers of crime and detective fiction, especially those who follow the Mario Conde series.
