«Picasso y Minou» is the children's picture book by P. I. Maltbie and Pau Estrada, published by Editorial Juventud in hardcover (32 pages, in Spanish).
Minou, Picasso's cat, sees that the painter's blue paintings are so sad that nobody buys them. Thanks to his encounter with some circus artists, the painter regains his joy and discovers new colors. Pau Estrada's watercolors, inspired by the Blue and Rose periods, recreate the Paris of 1900 and serve as an introduction to Picasso's art.
Its original title is Picasso and Minou and it belongs to the Art and Creativity collection. Published in 2010.
For early readers who want to approach Picasso through illustration and story.
