Pico en el aire

Synopsis of Pico en el aire

«Pico en el aire» is the children's picture book by Martine Laffon and Betty Bone, published by Fondo de Cultura Económica in paperback (32 pages, in Spanish).

One day, a bird named Pico flies alone in the immensity of the black night, making music with his wings while no one listens. On the other side, where clarity reigns, stands Big Tree, also lonely and bored. Between darkness and light, they both discover they can make two holes in the night to meet and stop being alone. A simple and imaginative story that combines narrative and visual contrasts to speak of friendship and the search for company.

Belongs to the Los Primerísimos collection. Originally published as «Bec-en-l'air».

Intended for children who begin to read alone or accompanied by their parents, and for early readers who enjoy illustrated stories about animals and nature.
