«Piratas polo Miño» is the children's and young adult poetry book by Xosé Miranda Ruiz, published by Editorial Tambre (Edelvives) in paperback (62 pages, in Galician).
The poetry book connects the adolescent reader's nostalgia with the memories of a retired pirate and recreates boardings, dreams of fortune, ports of the seven seas, and the chimera of southern islands. It is a book of verses with great strophic variety, aimed at those who once dreamed of finding a treasure.
The book belongs to the Catavento collection, number 16. The first edition was published in 2006.
The book is intended for children and young adult readers, especially those who enjoy pirate stories and poetry.
