«Piruleta» is Christine Nöstlinger's children's novel, published by Alfaguara in paperback (132 pages, in Spanish).
Víctor Manuel Meier doesn't like the name he was given at birth, so he decides to call himself Piruleta, like his favorite green lollipops. His friend Otto runs a grocery store; the boy visits him every day and, when he has a problem, looking through a lollipop helps him see it more clearly.
The «Infantil» collection from Alfaguara includes this work; the translation is by Mario García Aldonate.
For children aged 8 to 10; a story about identity and friendship.

Christine Nöstlinger was an Austrian writer best known for children's books.
