«Plaça del Callao» is a contemporary novel by Josep Albanell, published by Columna CAT in paperback (144 pages, in Catalan).
A story of love and erotic awakening at the end of adolescence. The realism of the situations contrasts with the almost fantastic treatment of the consequences of that relationship, whose intensity conditions the protagonist's life; the novel focuses on the pleasure of the other, as indicated by the André Hardellet quote that opens it.
It belongs to the Clàssica collection from Columna. The edition was published in Barcelona on June 1, 2000.
A work aimed at the general public interested in contemporary narrative in Catalan and in stories of amorous awakening with fantastic nuances.
