«Poemamundi» is a poetry collection by Juan Carlos Martín Ramos, published by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil in paperback (72 pages, in Spanish).
The collection is organized into three sections. «El mundo por delante» shows spaces far from the Western world where values such as coexistence or solidarity are still preserved; «Alrededor de otros mundos» is a tribute to children's literature authors; «El mundo en mis manos» reflects on the everyday. Together, it invites young readers to seek for themselves the true meaning of things.
Winner of the Lazarillo Prize for Children's Literature, with illustrations by Philip Stanton. Belongs to the «Otros Espacios» collection, number 2.
Recommended for ages 14 and up, for those who enjoy poetry that links the everyday with a look toward other worlds and ways of life.
