«Poemas» is Ángel González's poetic self-anthology, published by Cátedra in paperback (224 pages, in Spanish).
Self-anthology prepared by Ángel González himself: it brings together a selection of the best and most personal of his work. The poet, also a literature professor, defends a reading of his verses based on the author's intentions and his situation, keys that many critics see as subjective. A leading voice of the Generation of '50.
It was published in 2004 in the Letras Hispánicas collection (no. 121); it is the 12th edition and the cover features «Edición del autor».
Aimed at the general public interested in Spanish poetry and the Generation of '50.
Ángel González Muñiz was a major Spanish poet of the twentieth century.
