«Poesia» is the poetry collection by Jordi de Sant Jordi, published by Barcino in paperback (133 pages, in Catalan).
«Poesia» recovers the work of Jordi de Sant Jordi, a courtly poet linked to the court of Alfonso the Magnanimous, in a bilingual edition with the medieval Catalan text facing the modern Catalan version by Carles Duarte, and includes poems of courtly and introspective tone such as «Desert d’amics, de béns i de senyor».
«Poesia» (Barcino, 2011) opens the Tast de Clàssics collection, dedicated to bringing Catalan classics closer to today's readers.
To discover medieval Catalan poetry with a contemporary perspective and for followers of Carles Duarte; ages 12 and up.
