«Poesía árabe clásica» is the poetry anthology by VV. AA., published by Mondadori in paperback (70 pages, in Spanish).
Anthology that surveys Arabic poetry and is organized into four parts according to the conventional stages of ancient Arab culture: from the mu‘allaqas, prize-winning poems of the formative stages, to satires and love poems. The selection, made with concision, stands out for its depth, delicacy and surprising modernity.
Volume 22 of the Mitos Poesía collection (Madrid, 1998). Translation by Alfonso Bolado, Federico Corriente, Teresa Garulo, Jaime Sanchez Ratia and Josefina Veglison Elias de Molins.
