«Poesía Infantil» is José González Torices's children's poetry collection, published by Editorial Everest in paperback (72 pages, in Spanish).
Twenty-eight poems about thunder, the sea, the countryside, winter or the sun, and about everyday experiences such as learning to read, fearing ogres and witches, or understanding family relationships. The doll Winter, Summer the poet and the little donkey Perico populate verses that awaken the imagination and sensitivity.
It belongs to the Leer es vivir / Poesía collection, includes illustrations by Xosé Cobás and was published in 2008.
Aimed at children aged 6 and up, it serves as a first approach to poetry in Spanish.
