«Poesía romántica» is the anthology of Spanish Romantic poetry edited by Rafael Balbín and published by Castalia (paperback, 199 pages, in Spanish).
Rafael Balbín organizes the anthology around four axes of Spanish Romanticism: personal conflict, love, political-social concern, and evocation of the past and the exotic. It brings together poems by Bécquer, Espronceda, Rosalía de Castro, Zorrilla, and Carolina Coronado, among others, and includes a reading guide.
Fifth volume of the Castalia Prima collection. Annotated edition, published in 1999.
For literature students and readers seeking an organized view of Spanish Romantic poetry.
