«Prietas las filas» is Luis del Val's memoir about his childhood in the Frente de Juventudes, published by Temas de Hoy in paperback in Spanish.
In the book, Luis del Val recalls his childhood in the Frente de Juventudes and evokes with irony and nostalgia the everyday life of 1950s Spain: school discipline, street games and the symbols of Francoism. The gaze of the child he once was portrays a generation that grew up in the postwar period under the influence of the regime.
Published in 1999, the work has 206 pages and belongs to the Historia viva collection.
For readers interested in historical memory, postwar Spain and autobiographical accounts of life under Francoism.
