«Primer y último amor» is the novel by Torcuato Luca de Tena, published by Planeta in paperback (224 pages, in Spanish).
Fermín Azcue is the protagonist of this novel, which alternates two stages of his sentimental life. Between the tensions of his first and last love, the portrait of his mother painted by Sorolla serves as his consolation; the action takes place in the Alto Aragón, with Jaca, the Tena Valley and Monte Perdido as the setting.
Published in 1997, it is part of Planeta's Fábula Collection (number 314) and includes a presentation by Jaime Campmany.
