«Princesas olvidadas o desconocidas» is the children's illustrated book by Philippe Lechermeier, published by Edelvives in hardcover (92 pages, in Spanish).
Besides a famous one like Cinderella, this book brings together above all little-remembered and unfairly forgotten princesses. As an atypical encyclopedia, it offers portraits of each with anecdotes, secrets and wordplay tinged with irony, and Rébecca Dautremer's illustrations create an imaginative and delicate visual universe.
It belongs to the collection «Álbumes ilustrados». Translation by Mª Isabel Molina Llorente of the original title «Princesses oubliées ou inconnues»; first edition published on July 29, 2005.
Recommended for children's and young adult readers aged 10 and up, especially those looking for humor and fantasy in illustrated books.
