«Prometeu» is the illustrated children's book on classical mythology by Albert Jané Riera and Pere Ginard, published by Combel Editorial in hardcover (24 pages, in Catalan).
A literary adaptation for early readers that tells the myth of Prometheus, the Titan who defied the gods of Olympus to steal fire and give it to humanity. The story summarizes how men, defenseless against beasts, received that gift and the consequences the Titan suffered for his daring. The tale brings children closer to the stories that were popular in ancient Greece and Rome.
Part of the «El cavall mitològic» collection, which adapts classical myths for boys and girls.
Designed for young readers aged 5 and up who are approaching classical mythology for the first time, with adapted text and illustrations by Pere Ginard.
