«Puente de Alma» is the novel by Julián Ríos published by Galaxia Gutenberg and Círculo de Lectores in hardcover (373 pages, in Spanish).
The novel starts from the Parisian Pont de l'Alma to recreate the figure of Diana, Princess of Wales. The action takes place in Paris, amid images of the city and the memory of Diana, in a narrative where language builds the story.
The work appeared in 2009 in Barcelona, co-published by Galaxia Gutenberg and Círculo de Lectores; the corresponding ISBN-10 is 8467235217.
Julián Ríos is a Spanish writer, most frequently classified as a postmodernist, whom Mexican novelist Carlos Fuentes has called "the most inventive and creative" of Spanish-language writers. His first two books were co-written with Octavio Paz.
