«Qal'at Rabah» is the novel by Francisco Romero, published by Baobab Ediciones in paperback (341 pages, in Spanish).
A novel set in the Campo de Calatrava: it interweaves two eras separated by four centuries. A young woman preparing for civil service exams for an archive finds a 17th-century manuscript; an orphan raised in the castle of Calatrava la Nueva travels in search of a young comic actress. The past and comedy unite both stories and change the protagonist's present.
For readers of literary fiction interested in novels that cross eras and in the world of archives and manuscripts as a bridge to the past.
