«QI: The Book of Animal Ignorance» is the humor and animal curiosities book by John Lloyd and John Mitchinson, published by Faber & Faber in hardcover.
The QI team proposes an atypical safari through a hundred animals: water bears that live suspended for hundreds of years, woodpeckers with ears in their tongues, elephants that walk on tiptoe and luminous pigs. With illustrations by Ted Dewan, the book debunks false beliefs about hyenas, sheep or pangolins.
Belongs to the series The Quite Interesting Ignorant Books; first edition published on October 4, 2007, with a foreword by Stephen Fry and text by Alan Davies.
For the curious, followers of the QI show and lovers of popular science who enjoy animal oddities told with humor.
