«Quaderns inèdits de l'alquimista» is a literary work by Josep Palau i Fabre, published by Edicions 62 in paperback, in Catalan.
The author's unpublished notebooks reflect on alchemy as a body of knowledge irreducible to the strictly scientific, chemical or mathematical. Its resistance to any formula turns it into a defense, perhaps desperate, of human freedom. The text combines personal thought and literary register around that idea.
Published in 1991; part of the Idees collection from Edicions 62. Text in Catalan.
