«Quand je ne savais pas écrire» is the children's book by Claire Ubac, published by L'École des Loisirs in paperback (80 pages, in French).
Rolka Pachin is still small and cannot write well, but his head is full of messages. He decides to write them at all costs as letters: of love, of protest, to animals and to Santa Claus. They are secret and very important letters, because they could save his life. An endearing story for early readers.
Published in 2003. It belongs to the Mouche collection from L'École des Loisirs, designed for early readers.
For children aged 6 to 9 who already read alone and want to start with their first novels in French.
