«Que la vida iba en serio» is a collection of short stories by Álvaro Colomer and nine other authors, published by Martínez Roca in paperback, in Spanish.
Ten authors in their late twenties write as many stories about characters approaching thirty: they seek love, hesitate before parenthood, or feel lost in uncharted territory. The book, with a prologue by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, offers a choral look at a generation in transition.
Volume in the Testimonio Collection, published in Barcelona in 2003. The edition has 212 pages and brings together ten stories, one by each author.
Recommended for those approaching thirty or wanting a choral and brief look at that transition.
