«¿Qué pone aquí?» is the children's story by Rindert Kromhout, published by Ediciones SM in hardcover (30 pages, in Spanish).
The protagonist is a monkey who receives a letter and, as he cannot read yet, asks his friends for help to find out what it says. Deciphering the message holds a surprise for them, and the story conveys the joy of learning to read and the pleasure of letting oneself be carried away by words.
Volume 51 of the Los piratas collection. The illustrations are by Annemarie van Haeringen and the translation by Nadine Beliën. The original title is Wat staat daar? Recommended reading age: 5-6 years.
For children who are starting to read, as well as for reading promotion activities.
