«Que veinte años no es nada» is the contemporary novel by Marta Rivera de la Cruz, published by Booket in paperback (432 pages, in Spanish).
The writer Cósimo Herrera, eternal Nobel aspirant, decides to retire to Ribanova, a small provincial and misty town, where he meets Luisa, twenty years his junior, and lives a love as intense as it is impossible. It is also a coming-of-age tale and a choral story with very well-drawn secondary characters.
Winner of the Ateneo Joven de Sevilla Prize. Spanish-language edition published in 2009 in Booket's Novela collection.
For readers of contemporary fiction who appreciate rural settings and secondary characters with their own presence.
