«Querido hijo: estamos en huelga» is the children's novel by Jordi Sierra i Fabra, published by Santillana Educación, S.L. in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
Felipe never helps at home, is rude, disobedient and has finished the school year with bad grades. He expects a telling-off from his parents, but they ignore him: could aliens have abducted them? Worse still, they have gone on strike, and they are not the only ones: his friends' parents have also abandoned their children to their fate. A fun story that invites reflection on family cooperation and mutual respect.
The book belongs to the «Querido hijo» series by Loqueleo, as number 2, and includes illustrations by Ximena Maier. It is recommended for readers aged 10 and up (Orange Series +10).
Suitable for children and young readers aged 10 and up looking for an enjoyable read with values about family life and responsibility.
