«Rapunzel» is the children's fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, published by Ladybird Books in hardcover (48 pages, in English).
Adaptation of the Brothers Grimm classic for early readers: a girl with long golden hair lives locked in a tower by a witch, until a prince discovers her story. The book presents the tale with simple, natural language so that children who already have some fluency gain confidence and move on to longer reads.
Part of Ladybird's «Read it Yourself» series, at level 3, designed for children who are building reading stamina.
Suitable for children starting to read independently, around age 5; text entirely in English, useful as material for beginning reading in that language.

Jacob Ludwig Karl Grimm, also known as Ludwig Karl, was a German author, linguist, philologist, jurist, and folklorist. He formulated Grimm's law of linguistics, and was the co-author of the Deutsches Wörterbuch, the author of Deutsche Mythologie, and the editor of Grimms' Fairy Tales. He was the older brother of Wilhelm Grimm; together, they were the literary duo known as the Brothers Grimm.
