Synopsis of Rastros
Rastros es una destacada obra de teatro escrita por Roberto Vidal Bolaño, publicada originalmente en 1998. La trama se sitúa en Santiago de Compostela y sigue la historia de Esther, una periodista desempleada que, al borde de los cuarenta años, intenta suicidarse. A través de una serie de analepsis, la obra explora el pasado común de Esther y sus tres amigos de la infancia (Moncho, Xan e Iago), quienes se reúnen en la sala de espera de un hospital. Esta pieza es considerada un melodrama con tintes de misterio y crítica social, reflejando la falta de esperanza y la desilusión vital de una generación. Fue galardonada con dos Premios María Casares en 1999, incluyendo el de mejor texto original, consolidándose como una de las obras más relevantes del teatro gallego contemporáneo.
