Alberto Iniesta recalls two decades of the history of Spain and the Spanish Church, between 1965 and 1985. Drawing on texts from the period —episcopal documents, pastoral letters, homilies and the press— he evokes the climate of the transition, relations between Church and State and the events that marked those years.
Volume 74 of the GP Actualidad collection. Includes a foreword by Rodolfo Martín Villa. Alberto Iniesta was auxiliary bishop emeritus of Madrid. Published in March 2005.
A read for those interested in the recent history of Spain, relations between Church and State and the memory of the transition.
