«Refranys il·lustrats» is the illustrated children's book of proverbs by Francesc Salvà, published by Salvatella in hardcover (48 pages, in Catalan).
The book brings together illustrated and annotated proverbs about people and aspects of life such as work, relationships, feelings and society. With solemnity, malice, humor or irony, these sayings speak of how we are, of what we do well or badly and of how we should behave; they also warn of dangers and mistakes.
It is number 11 in the Espigó collection from Salvatella and the first edition was published on March 13, 2001.
Aimed at children and early readers, it serves to introduce them to Catalan and to the knowledge of proverbs.
