«Regalo sorpresa» is the graphic novel by Mike Carey with art by Sonny Liew and Marc Hempel, published by Ediciones SM in paperback (152 pages, in Spanish).
Dixie, a young Korean woman living in Los Angeles, has centered her life on hapkido until she meets Adam and falls in love with him. To surprise him for his birthday, she spends more than she can afford on a gift, though Adam's interest in her has nothing to do with romance. Dixie will discover that expectations don't always match reality and that a surprise can come from the least expected person.
The comic belongs to the Gran Angular collection, Comics line, and its original English title is Re-Gifters.
Recommended for readers aged 12 to 18 interested in comics about emotions, love and self-esteem.
