«Relatos de hadas» is an anthology of fairy tales selected by Manuel Yáñez Solana (M.E.Editores, paperback, 191 pages, in Spanish).
It brings together fairy tales from very different traditions: Nordic, Irish, Polish and French legends from the 17th century, along with myths from Japan and China. Manuel Yáñez Solana's selection recovers the stories without the censorship that softened their tragedies.
Published in 1997, it is volume 12 of the Relatos cortos collection and includes illustrations by Juan José Aguilar.
For readers who enjoy classic fairy tales and the original versions of traditional fantastic narrative.
