«Relats on line» is the anthology by Diversos Autors bringing together the shortlisted stories of the 1st Relats on line award, in paperback (144 pages, in Catalan).
It collects the twelve shortlisted stories from an online competition for short fiction in Catalan. Written by new authors, they create characters such as a nun with murky secrets, a fisherman pursued by a sperm whale, or a mime who rents out his stillness; there is also a chaplain before a deceased woman whom neither God nor the devil wants. A varied and light-hearted sample.
First edition published by Editorial Empúries in Barcelona on February 17, 2000, in the Llibres Singulars collection.
Aimed at readers of contemporary short fiction who want to discover new voices in Catalan literature.
