Simone, 34, moves with her family to the south of France to restore a house and run it as chambres d'hôtes. Reality soon dismantles the dream: the renovation, the children's loneliness and the couple's tensions drag her into losing control of her life and into a dangerous relationship.
In 2007 it won the Zilveren Vingerafdruk prize and in 2006 it was nominated for the Publieksprijs voor het Nederlandse Boek.
For readers of psychological thrillers with stories of life changes, moving abroad and domestic tension.
