«Réquiem por el joven Borgia» is the historical novel by Elena Martignoni and Michela Martignoni, published by Algaida Editores in paperback (496 pages).
In June 1497, Pope Alexander VI learns of the murder of his son Juan, Duke of Gandía, whose body is found stabbed in the Tiber. The novel recreates the climate of intrigue and rivalries in Borgia Rome, as well as the Spanish presence at the papal court, around the question of who could have ordered the crime.
«Réquiem por el joven Borgia» is the first novel by Elena and Michela Martignoni, translated by María Prior from the original «Requiem per il giovane Borgia», in the Eco collection from Algaida.
It will appeal to readers of historical fiction and those seeking a mystery set in Borgia Rome.
