«Retratos y perfiles» is a book of political portraits by José María Aznar, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardcover (378 pages, in Spanish).
José María Aznar reviews, with a personal and analytical eye, the careers of the great political figures of his time, from Fraga to Bush. Profile by profile, he recovers their ideas and their legacy, and places those lives in the events that marked the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st. It is, at once, a memoir of an era and a reading of its protagonists.
The subtitle of the work is «De Fraga a Bush» and the first edition appeared in October 2005.
Suitable for readers interested in Spanish and international politics of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
