«Rex the Big Dinosaur» is the children's story by Ronne Randall published by Ladybird in hardcover (32 pages, in English).
Rex is a big, noisy dinosaur who only wants to play, but his roars scare the little dinosaurs of the jungle. Throughout the story he tries to show that, despite his fearsome appearance, he can be a good friend, with simple sentences and repeated vocabulary for early readers.
Part of the Read it yourself with Ladybird series, level 1, aimed at early readers.
Recommended for children who are starting to read in English or who need to build their confidence with first readings.
