In the playground, Pablo blushes and his classmates laugh; what starts as a joke becomes mockery. The girl narrating also laughs at first, but then hesitates between defending Pablo or staying silent out of fear of the bully. A story about empathy and the courage to stop school bullying.
Original work in Dutch: «Rood, of Waarom Pesten Niet Grappig Is», published in 2013.
A picture book for early readers, useful for discussing school bullying at home and in the classroom.
