«Rondalles de l'Alacantí» is a collection of folk tales by Joaquim G. González Caturla (Editorial Marfil, paperback, 198 pages, in Catalan).
A compilation of traditional narratives from l'Alacantí: tales that elders told children and young people at the doorstep in summer or by the fire in winter. There is fantasy, love, adventure, mischief and life advice; a custom that television set back, but which still endures in schools and homes.
The book is volume 15 of the Narrativa Secundaria collection. The cover design is by Miquel Calatayud Cerdán.
For young readers approaching traditional tales and for those who want to discover the narrative folklore of l'Alacantí.
