«Rosa Vermell, detectiva privada» is the anti-detective novel by Josep Lluís Seguí Rico, published by Edicions Bromera in paperback (160 pages, in Catalan).
This novel follows in the wake of American film comedies to twist the codes of the detective novel: it starts from typical situations and characters of the noir genre, but takes them into a territory marked by grotesque realism and irony, between humor and the absurd.
First novel in the Rosa Vermell series and volume 8 of the Els Nostres Autors collection. This first edition includes illustrations by Maria Montes and an introduction by Jaume Pérez Montaner.
For readers of Catalan fiction who enjoy satire of the noir genre and ironic fiction with absurd humor.
