«Rosalíate» is the short illustrated biography of Rosalía de Castro, by Uxía Martínez Recamán and Laura Suárez, published by Xerais.
This illustrated book offers an essential introduction to the life and work of Rosalía de Castro: a poet who, at a time when Galician was despised, sang «na lingua que eu falo» and denounced the abuses suffered by ordinary people. The illustrations and the short text show why her voice became universal.
Published in 2026, it is part of the Pequeno Merlín series, in the Infantil e Xuvenil picture-book line of Xerais.
Suitable for early readers and for anyone wanting a first introduction to Rosalía de Castro at school or at home.
