«Round and Round the Garden and Other Hand Rhymes» is the children's rhyme book by Louise Comfort (Walker Childrens Paperbacks, paperback, 32 pp., English).
The book brings together traditional English rhymes designed to be accompanied by hand and finger actions, such as «Pat-a-Cake», «Here is the Church», «Knock at the Door» and «Grandma's Glasses». Each rhyme includes step-by-step illustrations showing the movements, so that an adult can share them with a young child.
The work was originally published in 1999; this edition is from February 2004.
Aimed at early childhood and shared reading between an adult and a young child.
