«Ryn, caballo salvaje» is the children's adventure novel by Bohumil Riha, published by Noguer y Caralt Editores in paperback (155 pages, in Spanish).
Ryn is a frolicsome little horse who lives on the banks of the Radim river. He amuses himself chasing squirrels, playing with his shadow and splashing in puddles, but he has a special weakness for the cabbages in widow Spudilka's garden. That fondness for vegetables leads him into an adventure.
It belongs to the Mundo Mágico collection (no. 30). The cover bears the Andersen Prize 1980 badge. Translation by Jesús Valiente Malla and illustrations by Shula Goldman.
Aimed at young readers and those seeking children's and young adult adventure literature.
