«San Agustín. Pasión por la verdad» is a youth biography by Miguel Ángel Cárceles, published by Editorial Casals in paperback (208 pages, in Spanish).
This biography follows Augustine of Hippo from his youth, when he strives to find the truth and does not abandon that goal even after making mistakes. Recognizing his own errors and repenting gave Augustine great humanity, which he later applied in his pastoral work to understand others, especially those who shared his faith.
The work is number 1 in the Young Biography collection; this edition, the second, was published in Spain in 2010.
Recommended for readers aged 11 and up, especially those interested in biographies of religious figures and in Ancient Rome.
