«Sant Jordi i el Drac» is the illustrated album by Antoni Garcia Llorca and Antoni Cósimo, published by Beascoa in hardcover (32 pages).
The album recreates the legend of Sant Jordi in free verse with a humorous tone. The most stinking, gluttonous and evil dragon on record is about to devour the princess, but even the most fearsome beasts hide a weakness: a brave knight who gives his name to one of Catalonia's most magical days.
With illustrations by Purificación Hernández. Belongs to the «Sant Jordi» collection. 2005 edition in Catalan and Spanish; recommended reading from 4 years old.
Aimed at children: accompanied reading or a story for the Sant Jordi day.
