«Santos varones» is a collection of humorous texts by Luis Sánchez Polack «Tip», published by Espasa in paperback (158 pages, in Spanish).
It brings together, recovered from the airwaves, Tip's best appearances on the «Debate sobre el Estado de la Nación» segment of Luis del Olmo's show «Protagonistas». With irony, it satirizes current Spanish affairs through characters such as Monsieur Sanfason Pomme de Terre or don Quincuagésimo Pollaloca, and reveals the most famous scams so that the reader is forewarned.
A volume in the «Textos escogidos» collection, with a foreword by Luis del Olmo and illustrations by Chumy Chúmez and Mingote. Originally published in 1995 by Espasa Calpe.
Recommended for those who enjoy Spanish radio humor and satire of current affairs.
