«Sauvés dans l'espérance» is the French edition of Pope Benedict XVI's encyclical «Spe salvi», published by Cerf in paperback (80 pages, in French).
In the encyclical «Spe salvi», Benedict XVI starts from Saint Paul's words to the Romans, «Spe salvi facti sumus» («in hope we have been saved»), to explain that redemption is not an accomplished fact but a reliable hope that makes the present bearable and directs it towards a future goal that justifies the journey.
2007 edition with a foreword by Cardinal André Vingt-Trois, then president of the French Bishops' Conference.
For readers interested in Benedict XVI's magisterium and in Catholic theology of hope.
