«Saving Sinbad!» is the children's picture book by Michael Foreman, published by Red Fox in paperback (32 pages, in English).
In a coastal Cornish village, a working dog named Sinbad has his routine disrupted when a storm triggers a rescue at sea. With the help of builders, an artist, a barber, a waiter and a groom, the dog takes part in a risky operation that celebrates everyday heroism and the community's solidarity.
The work was originally published in 2001; the Red Fox edition described here is from 2003.
Suitable for a child and young adult audience, with particular appeal for those who enjoy stories about dogs and adventures.
