«Schatje en Scheetje» is the children's book by Elle van Lieshout and Erik van Os, published by Kinderopvangfonds in hardcover (32 pages, in Dutch).
Schatje and Scheetje are locked in Katta Kombe's dungeon for having stolen some blue socks. To cheer up his friend, Scheetje brings him a piece of the sea, the sun, the moon, and an apple tree from outside every day. These small gifts turn their confinement into a place of imagination and hope, and friendship becomes their best way out.
Recommended for child and young adult readers, especially those who enjoy stories of friendship and hope.
